The restaurant service is open every day. The bar is open. Reservations are always appreciated and recommended.
The Bellavista hotel and restaurant is located at the upper exit of the funicular railway in Brunate, at an altitude of 750 metres, in a unique position in terms of geographic location and landscape and environmental characteristics.
By Funicular
We recommend, if possible, the convenient use of the funicular. Tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office in Como station (not online).
In this way you skip the queue at the ticket office and go directly to the turnstile.
From Milan
For those coming from Milan by train, we recommend taking advantage of the ‘Ferrovie Nord’ offer: 15€ = train + funicular.
By car
By car, we strongly advise against passing through the village of Civiglio. Therefore always pass through Como town first.
Take the A9 Laghi Milano/Lugano motorway and exit at Como Nord/Sud; when you reach the city walls turn right/left and continue uphill until you reach the village of Brunate.
Reach the small square of the parish church; the restaurant is just below it, taking the first small road on the right, which descends.
Alternatively, you can take the Como funicular railway to the village in just 7 minutes. The Bellavista hotel and restaurant is located right at the upper exit of the funicular.
